Extremely Rude CRST Recruiter?

Had one call the phone number listed on the short application my wife put in. It's her number, she told them I wasn't there and she was screening the calls and would pass along the info to me if the job was worth thinking about. The recruiter hadn't said who they were with and hung up on my wife at that point. When she called the number back, it went to voicemail and she left a message saying to remove her number from their system, I wasn't interested in working for them and it was rude for her to just hang up like that.

 

So.....your wife is your secretary?
Any reason you can't fill out your own applications and answer your own calls?

I would have hung up on her too...because she is not the person on the application.
Not 100% sure...but I'd imagine it is illegal to discuss your application with anyone but you, and your previous employers that you give permission for.
