Only thing about Prime is trucks are governed at 58 mph 62 at cruise. That's tough.

Abilene Motor Express - 72 mph
    Titan Transfer - 70 mph
    Both hire in your area.

Do they hire with little to no experience?

    They've heard that story a 1000 times.
    That's why it matters.

Yep, fresh cdl school grads. Titan just started their own cdl school in Tennessee, but they hire from any cdl school.
I think Abilene and Calex Logistics have become competitors for California produce runs. Calex is out of PA and hires new cdl grads. Don't know the speed of their trucks though.

P.S. They should update their website... it says you can live anywhere....

    Prime Inc. Home Page

"As a Prime driver associate, you can live anywhere in the United States. Spouses or passengers are allowed after your training period is complete."[/QUOTE]

He should bring that up to the recruiter. Maybe he was misinformed on the policy.

You've heard of the horse whisperer, or the dog whisperer? Well the Chinaman is the trucking whisperer.

Do NOT ask!!! I had a company change their mind about hiring me after I asked. It's suspicious to them.

That's true, but in certain areas you have to do the lease/purchase because you're so far out of the regular freight lanes they aren't going to pay for fuel for you to go home. As a lease/purchase driver, you pay for the fuel.
