That's why you have to go inside to ask if their paid parking is all full for the night. Just because all the spaces seem occupied doesn't necessarily mean they have no "room at the inn".

Conversely, just because their are empty spaces does not mean there are any available. The purpose of them is to accommodate drivers who, for whatever reason, can't arrive until late.

Also, it should be noted that if you see a reefer guy pull out after dark, he's probably going to deliver nearby and will most likely return.

So, pull thru a fuel lane, park and go ask inside if you haven't already got your reservation in-hand.
