License upgrade question

    Thanks for the input before I rip my hair out dealing with the DMV just thought I would ask around. I do construction (site development) and business is booming just trying to get to low bedding and trailer dumping

    Your gonna retake it all. There's no way to let you drive a Class A vehicle for your road test without a Class A permit, and there's no way to give you a permit on an endorsement. Call the Registry at least 5 times and average the answers because most will be wrong. In any case GK and Airbrakes will take you a couple minutes no biggie. There used to be a Commercial only registry in Marlboro which probably would have had the right answer but I'm pretty sure it got the axe when they started closing a lot of them.

    I cruelly got s reply from the DMV it's just the combo endorsement and the road test

    IT HELPS if we know what state you are in, because the CDL manual is on line and it answers that question.

    Cool, print out that email and bring it with you when you go to the registry. You know how they are and how their minds like to change at will!
