And therein lies the secret.
Park early before the crowds arrive, and run later at night.
More parking places and shorter, if any, lines to shower and/or eat.
When the other drivers are just pullin' in, be pullin' out.
Coming in late at night works too --- but finding a parking place can be a challenge in the busier truck stops.
Don't follow the sheep who only want to drive the daylight hours or
you'll always be fighting a crowd. Think OUTside the box.
Dare to be different.
Once y'all realize how much easier it is to do that, that ol' body
clock will adjust itself. All it takes is a desire, and a little determination.
Good post, Faber.
Faber Thanks this. -

My parents think its wall to wall of hot tempting hookers the minute you pull in the truck entrance. And that you have to beat em off with a stick just to go to the TS building.
LMFAO............
Yeah they didn't really want me driving a truck.plowboy_84 Thanks this. -

There are none so blind as those who will not see?
Do your parents view ALL Big truck truck drivers the same as you?
Let me guess --- your parents wanted you to be a doctor,
or a lawyer?
MY parents, on the other hand, figured I'd wind up bein' a
ditch digger.
So when I got into Big truck truckin', they were (slightly) relieved.
But what they REALLY wanted me to become, is a
chimney-sweep.
Complete with black coat and tails, and a top-hat.
Imagine that.
I keed you not.
Well, ........... maybe just a little.
