$2,700 for 4 weeks of training in NOT bad at all. That is actually quite reasonable, considering what a lot of truck driving schools charge.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
I see now why I should have just went to a school

Actually, that is excellent advice from your parents.
It may take awhile for you to come up with the money working part time at a minimum wage job, but it is well worth the effort.
Once you have come up with the money to pay for your truck driving school training, it will all be behind you.
You will not have to worry about owing the government or bank because you have not taken out any loans to begin with.
Equally important, this will give you a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction of doing it all on your own.
Good luck to you! God bless you and your family!

Hey what school did you find that accepts FAFSA? Would you mind sharing?

I didnt go to school. I already had some experience driving my friends truck with my permit, and then went to the testing facility and told them i wanted to pay for a couple hours on the course.
Yes, after you get your cdl 99% of companies will not hire with at least 3 months exp. I worked 4 months for a sh1tty company, and bounced.
In the end i spent around 700$ for all testing fees and practice hours. To each their own, i guess.Andy7317 Thanks this.
