They lie, especially on the mercedes account

    Self insured crappy insurance. People have it but are afraid to use it. They give u a raise then your health insurance mysteriously goes up so u never see it. 66 to 70 hr plus work weeks on local side. They run you like machines,and expect u to be just as heartless. Management is a clueless joke especially on the rehau part of the account. Slip seated trucks that aren't serviced properly and smell like ash trays. Kindergarten rules, favoritism. If u have any issues you are better off keeping them to yourself because nothing will be done.

    Interesting...

    I applied with them recently to inquire about a dedicated tanker gig, but got sick of playing phone tag with the recruiter and gave up. I later found out it didn't pay worth a #### anyway so I'm not upset. Lol, the only good thing I can say is at least the daily spam emails they were sending me have been reduced to weekly.

    Liquid filled totes...not really a tanker gig.
    They pay what they say,they don't cheat you..it is what it is.

    I've been applying to get my unemployment fulfilled. Wasn't crazy about this from input here. I applied for a job that is FedEx Dedicated in my own state. I don't know?
    I would like to add.... employment is awful in this state... Have learned to look for why an employer is hiring. Many times there is a reason and they won't do anything about it. I'm weary of this one.

    I just applied for the Mercedes run from Lexington Kentucky to the plant in Alabama. Have been told that it is 3 runs a week with weekends off.

    One thing about automotive. They have weeks off in midsummer and holiday time. But that would be about 2700 a week hub miles.

    Never mind the #### insurance. If you got smashed up, there is a 1986 Law passed by our Government requiring Trauma or ER to patch you up until you are stable. (Then kick you out with a ton of bills...)

    Even if you DID have insurance, you will find the deductable over 10,000 dollars before they start paying on anything and god help you if you needed something not within their network. They will pay nothing at all. And rake in the premiums on your healthy trucker health.

    I’m not worried about the insurance. My wife has the insurance from the state because she works in the school system.

    That fine by me. But that is if you are off and not running other stuff but I can handle being off on shutdowns
