    Hi Steeler,
I've been following your posts for months. You and Keen, and a few others who posted helped my husband decide to go w Millis. Peggi has been awesome, we feel really good about them and are expecting great things. Thanks for taking the time to document your experiences, the good and bad, as it really is helping others out there. He officially leaves this afternoon for training. It's bittersweet, as this may really be a good career change for him, but it will be an adjustment for us all with him being gone on the road. Anyway, thanks again for all of y'alls insight and for keeping this thread active and current. If anyone has any advice or tips, feel free to share it and I'll send it his way. Thanks!

We've had Millis management personnel show up here masquerading as drivers.

Well, I'd act surprised, but I'm guessing that every company does that these days

Lol well they are very good at it. :) Millis is in my top 4 due to the posts here. I wanted to jump into it before August started, but I decided to see if I can come up with enough money to pay schooling on my own. Though I prefer to get in and stay with one company once I start, I do not want to finance (and pay 18%-24.99% interest) nor do I want to owe anyone anything. I think Millis is 2500$ if you pay up front, but not sure if that covers the initial schooling.

Millis doesn't charge any interest with their payment plan when you go through thier school.. it's the same price up front or over time.

Question of the day...why is it that customers shipping paper loads insist putting so much weight in the back of the trailer? If it was winter, I'd be pissed right now. I'll be landing in Lebanon Indiana again tonight if any of you guys are in the area.

Probably because overages are a little easier to correct on the tail....
