    In objective testing, has one type of antenna ever reliably been proven superior to other types given identical heights, ground planes, atmospherics and other conditions?

    Or are the open-coils there just for exposing one's assets for all to see and admire? :)

    Some have had field strength tests done on them. Alot have not. Predator I believe is a Not. I run a steel or coil type antenna because of the amount of power my radio pushes. Alot of times the antenna being used is what's best for what truck model your driving.... Seems the fiberglass skip shooters get the best results for alot of the drivers on here. Ask Rabbi he usually knows what's called for and why !!!!
