Yea they have a very stringent safety policy in that regard. Odds are it won't even come to the point of you making the decision, they'll pull you off the road or shut the terminal down or something. Just something to consider. If it's just you they do have a health care plan that's free to the driver. I can't speak on how good it is as I always had dependents. And the pay is definitely there.

Your question should have been will lack of or gaps in employment history cause problems. The answer is NO IT WON'T. The FMCSA rules only state the up-to 10 year CDL history. After this is is up to the company what they will require. Most of the time you are only required to explain gaps.
