At the ThermoKing hospital in Indy.

No time to see the wife, unfortunately.

Need to ask you the reason you decided not to go with Britton, if you don't mind.

Volvo tractors for one. Wasn't absolutely certain about going back OTR. Didn't like the idea of out and back to ND, especially during the winter months.

Doing well where I'm at now. I think it was tue right decision.

What's your gig now, if you don't mind me asking? I'm probably following the thread, and just don't know it.

I work for REI out of Romeo, MI now running regional. All my trips are out and back. I'm usually out one night at a time. My next trip is actually two nights out. Never any longer than that. Trucks are equipped with apu's, fridges, inverters, and tvs. Most KW T680 with 10 or 13 speeds.

Hmm. Thought about them for a bit. Aren't they expedite? Not sure I want to hurry up that much anymore. 15 years of asap has taken it's toll.

Hardly any expediting anymore. They are a mainly regional company now. Like I said, I'm usually out one day, back the next. The occasional two nights out. The only three night out trip that I can think of right now is to Arlington, TX. They started doing more Hazmat. If you don't already have, they will pay for you to get it.

    Knucklehead Thanks this.

Will send you a pm instead of hijacking Zoomie's thread anymore.

    Knucklehead Thanks this.

Been a great week; very very busy. Will easily top 3000 miles.

Only downside was me being in Indy twice, once overnight, but work schedules meant I couldn't see the wife. I'm due back in this Friday so no big deal. We're caught up enough that I'm going to start taking every other weekend off. Haven't done that in a while.

Have just learned my daughter has been hired by Amazon full time, at the fulfillment center in Plainfield. 'Bout time--they pay quite well. Got her fixed up in a little apartment right next to a bus stop and bought her a bus pass and some groceries to give her a little push to help her get started.

Now to figure out what to put in The Hot Flash's goodie bag....
