I work for Sysco in Atlanta, Georgia. It's one of the largest Sysco "op-cos" with about a billion dollars in gross sales last year. I deliver over 4000 cases every week, but there are guys that deliver even more than that!
I'm looking for a place to discuss job details with you guys from all over the country. I'd like to move someplace new in the next couple years but I want to know more about Foodservice delivery in other cities around the country.
This is my first posts so any tips you have for me are definitely welcome.

    Thank you, Alex

Truth. And the active thread he started in LTL is: "Random LTL rants..(all welcome)" or something to that nature.

    Welcome to TTR, Alex~~! :)

    Alex1994 and Puppage Thank this.

What do you do out there man? Food seems to be the most lucrative opportunity in trucking short of being an o/o

Check him out in that "random" thread, if you haven't already. He's a helluva guy, and I'm not even food or LTL, just a fellow Buckeye.

ANY part, really! Freight of ALL kinds moves around here. Many of us are Ohioans. I pull tanks, but have leads to flatbed and boxes (good paying companies) with a lil'bit of experience under your belt.
The Port in Toledo is one hopping place; almost any/everything goes in and out of there.
Then, you have your Ag haulers, Milk haulers, etc etc etc. Personally, I'm near Mansfield, but the better stuff is up by Mike in the Cleveland area, or out by Bob Dobalina in the Columbus area.

    Bob Dobalina Thanks this.
