Nebraska State Patrol Is Racking Them Up!!

Cheers to Nebraska for enforcement that makes sense. Anyone around this industry for more than a few years knows many small operations don't exactly keep up on Maint or anything else if they think they can get away with it.

I once moved an empty Intermodal Can and Chassis out of a dock (Troy, MI) so I could get unloaded and discovered the chassis didn't have any brakes. I tried to drop it on a slight grade and it was following me down the driveway. It wasn't "the brakes aren't working", it was "brakes are not INSTALLED!" All 4 positions had no shoes in the drums. So some yahoo company thinks running around the Detroit Metro area with no brakes is cool since they never cross a scale.
