I hope to be Wally rich like you someday! How many stops do you usually do in a day to make that kind of coin?

Yeah that's what everyone is saying here. I just had my hopes up for getting that local job. Im burnt out on being on the road, working every weekend, and not having a life. I'm 32, no kids, no wife. Id rather make less money and have a life. One thing I've learned is money ain't everything.

Usually 5-8 stops and between 500-600 miles. It depends. I use up my clock and we have had a lot of "planned" work extensions this year. So I've been working extra.

Dude sounds like you need to get a little send Yorty first because it doesn't matter if you got the program or not when she went on short-term disability they would've taken it from you

So when you go on short term you give up your right to whatever program you are on..? That doesn't sound legit?
I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I bid on the schedule and should have started that prior to going on short term. Walmart decided to put that position on hold so nobody doing it to my knowledge.
My whole complaint is how can a company that so strategic like "walmart" not realize that they were not gonna need a sat out or a few local driver two weeks prior to them canceling the jobs??
I understand you gotta put your time in but when you bid on something and I'm gonna use the word "win" the right or sign a contract you should be entitled to that position. If walmart can't forsee past a couple weeks in the future then maybe someone else needs to take over this clown operation

Good for you man! Happy to hear that. Usual day for me like yesterday is 550 miles and two drop and hooks plus layover. Most of our stores are 200-300 miles from the dc so it's tough to bank on the stop pay.
