I know the loads I pull out of Adesa are either a direct client and Cars Arrive they are a huge broker along with Metro Gistics as well both out of Adesa. I stay away from a lot of Adesa because a lot of units are inops and I do not do inops at all. Cars Arrive pays better for inops, and let you know before hand. MetroGistics does not and does NOT pay Dry-Run or truck not used fees. Not worth my headache

He went to the auction and opened a office there and started conducting business there. Look for ways of doing things differently than everyone else. Like two years ago I met a guy on here who lives about 40 miles from me. He said he wanted to start hauling cars, I told him I only knew one guy that made any money doing cars. In two months he had bought 2 more trucks and trailers and had all the business he could do. He called me he other day and said he did more the first quarter than he did all last year 1.4 million. Now he does more things he is a dealer, he preps the he trucks for auction. The factory delivers the trucks to his location. Now I would not believe it myself however I have seen it myself. And yes not the norm. This is two different guys doing business unlike most people.

Just getting my business started up and have already bought a trailer just searching for a truck now. All of this is out of my pocket so I have been shopping around for a truck to start in. I understand I good truck is key but also have to understand that I'm starting from scratch. What is everyone's take on starting out in a 2005 Duramax with the 8.1 in it? Thanks in advance

OLArkansasBoy. I'm in AR too. Looking to startup in a 2011 f250 6.7. We should meet up, maybe we could help each other in the future. I hope to start up and run for a year under 26k then hopefully have enough to buy a dedicated 1ton for hauling. My POV f250 is paid and want it to be my weekender. it has 116k on it now. Hope to not take it past 200k from the first year. It will become my 5th wheel camper puller for personal use then, I will probably buy a 2013-16 f350 or 450 when i'm ready to get my CDL in a year or so. My F250 is only 200 lbs below the CDL limit with its GVWR and the trailers. I have a form post on here. look it up and read through, You decide. I'll be here either way.

I've found a few more trucks. Really good deal on a f350 with the 6.0. I've never owned one but I've heard you want to stay away from the 6.0, but I've also heard a lot of good things about them also. What's your opinionGrarRnRHotShot

Where does everyone find their loads? I've looked at a few loadboards but I want to use a few loadboards to keep my truck moving with good pay. Thanks in advance

Not a big Fan of th 6.0 or the 6.4. But the 6.0 is better under if you do certain things.
for the 6.0, Don't over chip it. Either buy one thats been truly Bullet proofed or get a cheaper one and have it sent off to be bullet proofed. They are really good after that. Now, They are near as comfortable or have the creature features the new 2008 to 2010 6.4 or the 2011 - 2016 6.7.
Honestly for the money spend on a bullet proofed 6.0, I would recommend a 6.7 PS . But you have to deal with omissions then. It is all a trade off. You can buy a 18k plus 10k bullet proofed 6.0 or pay 30k for a 2011 -2012 6,7 with 100 to 150 k on the clock.
I love my 6.7s but they can be expensive at times.Anj Thanks this. -
Yes there is plenty of work for under 26K call me I'll be glad to help you out. Thanks, Dan Burbank Stork Transport
