Own business for sure. If there was a way to start a lumper business that'd be the way to go. Seemingly I should say. I'm sure there are under tones to the trade that I don't know. But to the untrained eye it seems I could buy a folding table at a yard sale, throw that sucker up at a warehouse and charge people 300 dollars to sort a pallet.

    Badmon and BoostedTeg Thank this.

My first commercial driving job was driving a News Van, putting up the mast, and establishing a signal back to the station.

I'd always thought being an on location journalist would be a fun job. I like writing and traveling around. And I'm nosey. But sadly the way of the journalist has gone increasingly down hill with today's technology. I swear I was born a couple decades too late.

Mine north of town had 8 IT positions they were having trouble filling. Only $130K a year. Must be the 2 weeks in 2 weeks out rotation that is the turnoff?

Nope. 200k and performing beautifully. Drives like a Cadillac, I-Shift is smooth as glass and a 7.23 mpg average isn't too shabby for the corridor I run either ;-)
