I have a Koolatron and it lasted maybe 16 months. Still works but not as well. Sometimes it is the cord or the 12 volt plug.

The cooler is getting power but the internal fan isn't running like it should so I'm going to try and replace it.

    OUTSIDE

    92x92x25mm

    INSIDE

    60x60x10mm

Those are the dimensions for the fan replacements in the Coleman cooler. They are computer case fans and will fit without modification to the covers. Some come with male and female plug connectors that you can wire in to make swapping them out easy. You can buy them from New Egg or Tiger Direct for cheep. Just make sure that the outside fan blows 40cfm and that the inside one is below 20cfm. Go bigger than 20 on the inside one and you can make a freezer.

I have 2 of these coolers I bought from Walmart with the replacement warranty. I only paid for 1 cooler. The warranty cost $8.00 for 2 years and they don't require that you return the cooler. They email you a gift card. When I bought the second one I got the warranty again. Cashed it in a year later and bought spare fans. Should be good to go for a while.

Are thease 12 volt fans? My inside fan croaked. It doesn't look like a muffin fan. It has 1 mounting bracket with holes on either end.

I bought this one or the next one larger. It has an auto shutoff if the battery gets too low, so I have left it plugged in since I got it. If I had known I'd like it this much, I would have gotten a larger one.

That's what I have, except the next size up. Bought it almost a year ago, and I haven't shut it off yet. When it explodes, I'm buying another one exactly like it.

Does anyone know wich way the fan on the inside blows? Does it push air from the cooler over the cooler fins, or pull air over the fins and blow it into the cooler?
