Brake pot pins seized.

    When doing a service we always spray the pins with fluid film & make sure they are free. Air hammers work well to free siezed pins

    You can thank the chemists over at Road Salt USA for coming up with more and more aggressive ice melting compounds that are playing hell with things like this, and many other problems.

    That's the truck. In the winter time here in Ohio, they put a brine mix and calcium chloride on the roads. That stuff eats up aluminum and copper like crazy, not to mention what it does to the steel as well.

    Yep, like @SAR said, one thing I can say is you never have to worry about those pics seizing. They seem to work great for us.
