As long as it can be secure I don't see why not, but you have to ask

I do hear they're slow lol however I just like going to truck shows and I'd like to be a part of it even if I'm not competing for anything.. they are nicer than a lot of other trucks on the road

We turn down a lot of people because we already have enough drivers living in that area. Maybe we don't have much freight in that area. We hire a lot of people who are older, so that has nothing to do with it.

I received an offer/invite to begin training to get my CDL last week. I'm hoping I can nail a start date of 3/5 when I talk to Dawn on Mon/Tues.

Any idea what the probability of getting a 10/13 speed after my 5 week training run will be? I don't want an automatic.

I find conflicting information about idling the truck and how if does or doesn't affect my pay, am I able to idle my truck and not shoot my paycheck in the foot?

Is there any benefit to going and getting my tank/hazmat endorsement on my permit and getting a TWIC card and passport before I go?

What's your biggest hurdle for people to learn while training?

You will get a 9 speed out of training, the older drivers get the autos, unless you struggle at shifting. I recommend hazmat, Twic, and a Passport because it helps you percentage points for pay. We have bunk heaters to keep warm in winter, and in summer just shut it off when you not in it. The biggest struggle is the ones who won't listen. If you listen and have a good attitude, you will be fine. And you will have to get by me of course.
