If you buy a glider from Schneider there is no warranty, I called mouth.

 

Schneider gliders had their 12.7 detroits reman by clarks.

Dont take my word for it. Try it and see. Yet all the vehicles I have ever purchased, a warranty is only valid to the first buyer. A new owner may go back to the vendor whom provided the first warranty and ask for a new warranty

 

That article is about certified pre owned vehicles warranties. That has absolutely NOTHING to do with the original factory warranty.

A certified pre owned warranty is not always but often times from a third party vendor.

I see nothing there about whether or not a factory Freightliner warranty is transferrable.

You should try and have your facts straight before making statements like you did.

 

I am not speaking for semi truck manufacturers.

As far as passenger vehicle factory bumper to bumper warranties the manufacturer could care less who owns the vehicle. It could change hands multiple times and as long as it falls under the mileage and time limitations the owner does not matter.

Extended warranties, certain special policies, good will, paint warranties, etc, yes sometimes it has to be the original owner.
