We have a few relatives that were blown up in Korea still kicking at 90 plus. They will out live us all I tell you.

I don't need to myself. Ive already caused enough ruckus.

Ha, just posted about having to prove I wasn't working the last few years. Lol

26 years of uninterrupted work history, and they want proof I wasn't working the last few. Cracks me up, but it is what it is

    MidwestResident Thanks this.

How do you prove you have gaps in your work history?
    Lie?

I have to send them my tax returns for the last 3 years. Of course, I'm allowed to block out my SSN, which is weird since I already gave them that

For a gap or gaps, I have no idea how they'd want that shown.

I haven't filed taxes for 10 years as I did not work legally for 5 and was sick and being a caregiver to my Father for the next 5. I would have nothing to send in.

A gap is what you have for the last 3 years.
You did not work which equals a work history gap.
Why do they need to see your other income from your income tax?
That should be none of their business.
    Makes no sense.

It verifies my sources of income. I can cross off the amounts, so that's a none ossue. If I have a workplace on the return listed, well, that would show I was employed.

    Verifiable means can be verified.
This is on one of the companies websites.
I think at least the last two companies I worked for in the early 2000's are still in business.
Before that is impossible as it was many years ago.
Hopefully the companies I used to work for will remember me or still have records I worked there.
That would be verifiable work history even though it was 10 years ago.
It does not state "recent verifiable work history" on this companies website just verifiable.

But from what I've been reading most companies want to know what you have been doing the past few years.
    How do I verify this?
I can verify that I have been on Medicaid for the past 4 or 5 years for a temporary disability.
    Will this help?
I was also on unemployment for a few years after getting laid off in 2007.
There should be record of this somewhere.
    By 2008 you couldn't get a job at MacDonald's.
