Disabling a safety device is immediate dismissal. Unless you are only blocking it while SB or Off Duty status.

Get you a really dirty amp, run the coax right by the feed, set a pretty decent dead key. TaDa! Screen goes blank or fuzzy. Then when they call you in, unhook the amp and coax and shrug your shoulders. Truck must be possessed???

Just tape that son ##### already. Too many companies are hiring to worry about what will happen.
I'd never sign onto a company with a driver cam though. That's creepy, if you don't trust me just fire me.TaterWagon#62 Thanks this. -
I couldn't care less about my camera. When I first started it bothered me. Now I just go about my daily biz and give it no mind. 1300 drivers at my company and all have cameras. Its no likely they have 1300 people watching each of us. Even if they did, they are gonna see me singing to my music, yelling about drivers outside or picking my nose. Who cares? They don't. I know nobody is watching when its not recording a driving event. it's impossible to watch 1300 drivers. Company would go bankrupt. It would require a whole separate building to house the security personnel.
So I don't care. In fact I feel the same way every where I go. Everyone is filming everyone anyways. -

Anyone try the green laser pointer yet?

Heavy magnets work?
-
However, in reality, in the case of SD card type storage, it seems typical commercial magnets likely would not damage them
Is flash storage affected by magnetic fields?
Sounds like a task for Myth Busters.Last edited: Aug 16, 2017
