Sorry, I'm not tech savvy enough on this IPad to figure it out. Just go to Amazon and search powermax PM3-100LK. It's 184.99 and free shipping. It's a power supply/battery charger with filtering so it doesn't interfere with radio equipment. It has a three stage charging setting or you can switch it over to steady voltage and adjust it from 13.3 to 17.1, it's super quiet and the fan rarely runs.

    lilillill Thanks this.

IF YOU SAW THOSE GUYS EQUIPMENT YOU WOULD KNOW WHY -----SAME AS THEIR EQUIPMENT IN A BIG TRK..... Saw a guy running a sweet 16 in a big truck one time and he's bragging about it. His cobra 29 looked like the first one ever built. Old and worn out.....

John has been on the radio quite a bit lately. We just haven't had West Coast conditions out here in Pennsylvania though.

What kind of truck are you driving? What type of antenna system do you have on your truck?

I'm in a Columbia. I run 2 different Wilson 2000's and LMR 240 Ultraflex. The one I use for the N4 is centered on channel 38 1:1.17

Lately though, if I turn the power up on sideband, my low air buzzer starts to squeal. I'm thinking that the antenna is arcing so I'm probably going to go back to an open coil.

Do you ever get through Pennsylvania? I got an antenna you can have sitting on my front porch and I think you'll like it free of charge.

Do you have a meter in line? It seems like the buzzer would be rf related? Does it do it on other channels? Is it pegging the radio meter like it's a direct short and squealing?
