Universal makes you pay for the DOT at a truck stop every 6 month at $130.00 then they charge you fuel tax and load insurance on every load and a fee to pay you.. now they take away your fuel plan and make you take advance to fuel.

 

So they make a business (lessee is a business) pay their business expenses? What a horrible company to not pay your expenses!

Now if you are a w2 employee, well you need to get a hold of the labor board.

I run on a dedicated account, I get 35% up front, which I keep what is left over after fuel which i can take off on use how ever I want and how, if run right about 394 miles and is paid over 1000 plus to run, then how would I be paid a 1.19

 

Not trying to be smarty just looking at the no.s i too one time leased on to a company and after all the deductions you and truck get about 86.5 cent mile. I did my math wrong.
