    Here's a freebie for you, but I'll let you put in the leg work. Open up google, put in a brokers name followed by the words "load board". Some will not give you access until you become a qualified carrier, while others will not give you a carrier packet unless you just agreed to haul a load. For best results you want to look for broker/carriers.

    You will find most of all the same loads on your major load board anyways, so just throw down the money and get a monthly subscription. There are very little free rides in business and asking competitors for information to help you line your pockets, will net you very little, if any results.

    To me, I see your question as being one of two things or both;

    1. I don't want to pay for a load board.
    2. I'm looking for loads not posted to the world.

    I have a list to fill both of those, to an extent. I still pay just shy of $200 a month for load boards. Why? because not all brokers have loads in all areas and not all brokers hold back loads from major load boards. So rather than checking 20 different brokers web pages it's easier to open one or two. It's also populates brokers in the new area, that's when do as I stated in the first paragraph. If they have no secret stash, then there's no point. In the end though it's rather futile.

    The moral of the story is, it's taken me a bit of time to populate a list that I was looking for (#2) and I have zero intentions of sharing my plate with anyone, not to mention posting it on a public forum. I'm also willing to bet that no one else will share. As you can see from the replies, I'm correct.

    Ruthless Thanks this.

    Not all shippers/brokers post their rates though.

    You understood me wrong then, i am not asking for a free ride. I am ok paying monthly to a loadboard so long it turns productive, my hesitation is to pick the right one or to know if i have to subscribe to several ones as am sure not all brokers/shippers/dispatchers will use the same 1 loadboard all the time

    There have been several times this summer where if I just had big enough bolos and have waited until Friday afternoon, I could of definitely scored a cpl hundred more bucks on already good paying loads.

    Sometimes a bird in the hand is better than 2 in a bush though.

    To the OP, I just use DAT Truckersedge. If you're an OOIDA member it's like $32 a month. It works fine for me on the lane I run.

    Ah I see, what you mean. Sorry, for getting ya wrong there. Well I use ITS and MembersEdge and every broker I've found that has a load board I can find on either one of those or both and many, many more brokers without a load board of their own.

    I hear that membersedge has the same loads as the full DAT board (without all the bells and whistles) and if that's the case I'd rather use ITS (just my opinion) over DAT and I do actually because a good 90% of my loads come off of ITS. MembersEdge has pretty much just become my fall back in case I can find anything.

    Of course others may clam the opposite. for me though the its/membersedge is a great combo because I find myself in a lot of different places and for the most part if its fails me I can get a hook up on the other. If there's no loads on either then that just means I screwed up.
