Ya' know, Big Don? I kinda wonder about this myself sometimes. I can understand how drivers would have time to spend on the boards since they have downtime at shippers, receivers, and by HOS regulations. But I wonder how in the heck trucker spouses do it. I mean, I'm not a trucker's spouse -- my husband, while he works at least 48 hours a week spread over six days, is home before I am during the week and helps out around the house. And even with his help, I don't have enough time to keep up with the boards, let alone become an active member of any sister sites.

Could it be that I have too much of a life?

 

Well Ducks, I posted that tongue in cheek. But right now things are kind of slow for me, which is why I'm on here as much as I am right now.

I need to get a life!

 

Yeah, I knew you were teasing, but when I see the activity here -- and believe me, I'm grateful for it -- I sometimes think I need time management lessons from some of these folks 'cause I gotta be doing something wrong.

I often think my schedule must be posted on some public bulletin board... and when people see a slot of time open, they feel obligated to fill it for me. But I love my family and friends, and wouldn't trade them for all the tea in China.

 

That would be nice.
