Girl, 12 leaves baby at firehouse

Better at a fire house than in a dumpster but where are her PARENTS????

 

I carried both of my children ten months, and after 42 weeks I had routine tests done to assure that the baby was still doing well. During one of the tests -- which was done in the labor/delivery area of the hospital -- there was a young lady crying and screaming her way through labor. I remarked to the nurse that just listening to her made me kinda re-think this havin' babies stuff. The nurse told me that the young lady was having a rough time coping with labor as she was only 13.

Years later, while assisting at the school, the child's kindergarten registration papers crossed my desk... and that little 13 year old (hopefully with the help of her family) kept the baby.

It's funny, but I still think about that young mother every now and then and wonder how she's doing. She was just SO young... not just for motherhood, but for an intimate relationship with a boy/man as well. <sigh>

 

What do you want to bet that both these kids were impregnated by adults?
