You shouldn't have to jimmy your logbook to make your money. If you aren't making your money doing things right take it up with the office.
When I hired on my first load of the week was a store 650 miles from the DC. Back then drivers would still jimmy their logs to make even more money. This was common, and I'm sure his greed comment is based on these types of circumstances.
I log everything as if a DOT officer is sitting in the jump seat itching to nail me. If I take it in the shorts because it took me 5 hours to drive 37 miles in LA (yes, with google maps traffic enabled) the company takes it in the shorts with me in loss of productivity. Why should they make any changes if I make up for it at my risk?foggy and georgear1084 Thank this. -
Not the yellow capes please

Ya, I saw a lady wearing one. What's the story with these?

At my dc , i have never gotten a store load over 200 miles; its about 160 miles or less down into the inland
the -
Empire or la area; then 20 to 30 miles to pick up some remix,
Then back into the la area -
In the Houston area everything is about 50 miles per store level sometimes you might get lucky and get a 70 or 75 miles and we still make #### good money and you got understand that Houston is the third largest city in the United States and the traffics just bad as it is in LA Chicago or anywhere else there's no reason why you need to cheat on your log bookkruz1980 Thanks this.
