I'm not an SNI guy, but when I almost took a position with them 7 years ago (right before I got my current gig) the "refresher" was 3 days, no pay but no cost. YMMV.

Last Thursday I delivered down the road from the house at the end if the dat. Since I was due in on end of day Friday I asked if I could just push out. My dbl asked me to show available because he anticipated needing some local work done. Not a big deal, set the NAT for 0700 and went home.
On my way in I stopped for a bagel. There was a guy buying bagels for an office group. I helped him carry the stuff out to his car, and as he was thanking me he noticed my SNI shirt and asked what I did for them. I said my name was Roger and I drove regionally. He said "oh you must be Roger Gentle, I'm the GB APM." We chatted a bit and went on our separate ways. I have to say I'm impressed that a guy I've never met and who usually only sees my driver number was able to take my first name and come up with my last.
Then I spent 5 hours running 3 short loads, drove less than 100 miles, made $120 and went home. On Thursday I drove just under 400 miles, dealing with John "If a yard jockey can get the trailer in there an OTR tractor should be able to as well" Deere and Nestle Purina. Used 12 hours on the 14 and made about $145 dollars.
The moral of the story is that we're not all just a number - except @91B20H8 but that's his choice- and short haul loads pay.TennMan, rickybobby, SingingWolf and 4 others Thank this. -
I agree, the people I see here do try to know my name. And I appreciate that, I know that's not easy to do in such a large company like Schneider.
91B20H8 and gentleroger Thank this. -

Hey fellow pumpkins, have any of you started as OTR and ended up going local while staying with Schneider? How long were you OTR and what was the process?
