    To compensate, maybe the geniuses should've used the proper technology, turbines with high wind cutoffs, adjustable pitch blades that slow the turbine in extended windy periods, or turbines with electro-mechanical brakes that can be applied to stop a number of windmills in a wind farm, to prevent damage to the grid. It's not rocket science, just wind.
