Good luck to you @Youngtrucker17 only advice I could say is, check craigslist, call around to all you find. Do not sign a contract. There's many companies that will hire you without a contract. I signed one to a local here in cali, and really regret it. Imo, contracts are a scam to get money from people.
-
You mean besides the contract you sign with the company who trains you right?
-
If the contract states that you must pay the company if your fired or you quit before the contract is up, basically for some kind of training, don't do it. I had my cdl prior to hiring on with a company for 15 yrs. I signed because I WANTED to work for that company for a long time. I ended up getting fired. Basically a misinterpretation of communication. There are other companies who would've trained me without a contract. I should've went to them. Contracts aren't worth the hassle, and games.drivingfool Thanks this.
