Yep just got it back well the shop had it for about 3 days I think I was at home so really not sure how long it took. But its looks nice under there lots of new parts. Im really hoping this solves the issues with the dpf it would make me happy.

Are you saying you had a dpf installed on a non dpf truck or what?

this truck always had the dpf, the cat dealer by my home terminal did an upgrade too it, I really couldn't tell you what was done too it but there's a lot of new parts on the engine.
Yes I agree with the dpf and fuel economy but its not my truck, but so far it seems that my mpg is a little bit better but im lightly loaded also so its hard too compare.

How is this engine working out for you overall? Just curious.

Overall it stinks im lucky if I get 5 mile per gallon, it has no horsepower, company set it at 425 but its got speed set at 78, no leaks but under 200k for miles still give that time yet.
If it weren't a company truck I would up the horsepower and probably add a few things too it too increase the mpg. Then it might be a half way decent motor, but overall it kind of scares me.

They went cheap on the dpf emmisions crap too stat with but they seem too have improved it much better with upgrade. But if they went cheap on the dpf then whereelse I wonder did they cut corners.

But i do like the truck it sits in though I like the 387.

i have a 09 cat in my truck and it is getting anywhere between 6.7 and 7.3. It just depends on the load I have and where I am running at. I also only run at 66 mph as that is where the company I drive for as it set at.
