2017 Intermodal

I just stopped and picked up the book and studied the questions. There's a lot of questions about explosive and radioactive, some are a little tricky. Usually 2 answers are completely wrong and 2 that are close. I passed the second time once I knew which questions I got wrong.

 

WTF is up with these people? Kansas hit me with no reflectors on my mudflaps and nonfunctioning reverse light. OK, mudflap reflectors are an easy fix. Turns out my reverse light has to be completely rewired from front to back. I did a little research. A reverse light is not required. Don't have one now!

 

ports in this area are getting bad, my friend is closing his company he cant afford the low rates... he was getting 600 from the ports to liberty,pa overweight he had to give the owner operators 550 and between insurance, chassi rent and personnel he was losing money... he has 21 chassis sitting in the yard and nothing to do with it. plus Pennsylvania and Connecticut are cracking the whip on the ports guy and doing level ones on rest areas and everywhere they can

 

@RERM @JJKid any idea where they install gps tracker on our trucks. had no clue we had 1. and im looking and i see nothin. id like to know where they put it so i dont ever hit it etc.

 

Did you check inside the steering column?

 

If you have ELD, it comes with a GPS

 

inside it? cuz mine is glove dept.

 

mines by the fuse box.

lol, well if you cant find it then you got a good chance of never hitting it haha

just ask them in the shop, they'll tell u.
