You can get a small solar panel that will hook to the battery that might help out, otherwise get a pair of long jumper cables because it only takes @ 6 hours in some of them.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
If your truck has a refrigerator it should have came with a LVD (Low Voltage Disconnect) that will disconnect certain circuits when the battery voltage drops below a preset voltage number.
Dave_in_AZ and RocketyMan Thank this. -
A bag of ice or part of one is all you need to put in before turning it off when ever you shut down your truck in hot weather, just dont open the door to ck. an let cold air out too much?
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
it does but i wasn't sure what all it cut off. i did solve my problem by turning on the opti-idle in the battery guard mode. it's in my drive way so i doubt it'll go anywhere -
The first thing it will cut off when the battery reaches the voltage cutoff level is the circuit to the refrigerator.
If you have four 900CCA Batteries, your refrigerator can run for over 10 hours before the LVD will shut it down.
If you're at home, just turn off the truck refrigerator, take the food out and put it in your home refrigerator. -
That or hook up a trickle charge to your batteries

Thanks for the replies. It went a day and a half and started fine.
On another note, what is everyone getting for fuel mileage with these new cascadias?
