You should listen to the man. I just got into the same type of squawk with a non trucking co.

See i use my personal phone for company email, or I did and everything was fine until they decided they wanted to put a snoop program on my phone. The program would have given them access to my entire phone and allowed them to delete anything they wanted should I leave.....well naturally I said no and they shut off my email. ( Makes perfect sense lol ) They gave me their personal assurance that they would not look at anything other than business stuff......you know..... trust me.....this won't hurt a bit

It's not a conspiracy theory, it's corporate america wanting to invade your privacy.
