What's overseas for you? Africa? Europe? Russia? Japan?

KBR has openings but you need 3-5 years driving experience.

Those driving jobs are paying nowhere near what they payed I was over there. I have a buddy in the ghanny now. And he only makes $3500 a month.

But if your interested you can call kbr at 713-753-2000 and maybe look up dyncorp or itt systems also. Also if you owe more than 5k in child support you can't get a passport. I beleave it's 5k i can't remember fully. But a lot of ppl were being sent home for that.

But to me it ain't worth going over there. You can get 100k plus driving jobs in the U.S. The only difference is over there it's tax free if you stay out of the U.S. 330 days.

They no longer consider Iraq to be a war zone as far as the uplifts on pay are concerned. And it was those uplifts that boosted our pay enough to make it worthwhile. So even if they would hire you you can make as much here with the right company.

I wouldn't even consider it. Considering You could be killed at any given moment. No amount of money is worth that.

Thanks to all that have given me feedback! I appreciate it, I'm new to this forum and have really enjoyed the info ... take care and drive safe. I think I should keep my butt in the great USA and keep on trucking

Yup. You're about ten years too late to make the big money overseas
