I was on USS Vreeland (FF-1068) and USS New Jersey (BB-62).
I liked that Frigate; we were all over the place; Atlantic & Pacific. Panama Canal, Suez Canal and some wild times. El Salvador, Nicaragua, Yemen, and on and on. Wild, fun times, building memories. What about that Green Door Street in Hamburg,Germany; red light district behind the Green Door.

 

I had those problems while pulling a skateboard usually in "Union" Mills.

 

I was 51 years old when I started flatbed with only 6 mths in trucking ... flatbedders are without a doubt the tightest group of drivers on the road . When I first started driving I pulled dry van and was really disappointed in the lack of brotherhood in drivers. That changed the day I started flatbed, any situation, any help you ever need will be given to you as a flatbed driver from any other flatbedder.
