Interesting article. I have to admit, I can most definitely relate to the whole being interrupted during play thing. For whatever reason I am able to remember many things from early childhood and I do remember being interrupted during my play a lot. I have ADHD and though the 'condition' is way over diagnosed, I can tell you that my teachers and parents and everyone that knew me growing up would definitely agree I am a real case. Either way, I remember when I got interrupted during play I would get very angry and upset. Most of the time people took that as me being a very serious no fun kid. In reality, especially looking at this article, I believe I was just never given enough time to do anything without someone barging in on me, causing me to begin to get angry about it.

I wish that the article gave better examples of improving such a thing than meditation though =\. I believe I learned when I got a bit older to deal with it better. Taking medicine did help me tremendously actually. Taking medicine for it taught me what it meant to be able to concentrate, something I hadn't truly experienced prior. Now I can do a much better job concentrating with no medicine at all.
