Taking another swing at it

This is when I don't like my normal load planner / dispatcher going on vacation. My sub dispatcher is trying to get me to run fleet loads.

 

And the majesty of a fleet dispatch substitute is that I get to rescue fleet loads for them, rather than drive long haul. I'm going to have to get vocal if they try it again.

 

Jake should know by now. But I'll remind him to make sure.

 

Nothing like dangling a carrot when I need to be off.
Planning offered me an Arizona run after I get back from Nebraska . I can't do it because we are leaving Friday. So I put my name on a 2 stop Texas run, that should get me back here by Friday.
Such is the family life with Disney vacations.

 

In Omaha. Unloading stop 1 of 2. Backhaul to Walker mi yard will drop tomorrow.
Dispatch sends a load "2 stop Texas, delivers Monday morning. "
I says nay nay. Stop 2 will unload Tuesday. Tyler and Wichita Falls are not next door to each other. I predict my clock will be out befor reaching stop 2.
So far they seem to agree.

 

I'm able to sleep normal tonight! Yay!
