Every new road unit on the local Worldwide Equipment lot (Volvo) has it standard.

Internationals are all standard in 2019

(Macks too as far as I can tell)

They say "optional". But everything on thenlot has it.

Kinda like getting a new car with radio delete. (You have to order it special)

I would imagine that their is an incentive to the manufactures to have this available on all new units now. It will all be mandated (like ELD's) for everyone very soon.

you know what, i forgot the camera.
We have to install cameras in every cube, both watching you and watching the computer and desk, make sure you are only doing work on work time and can type appropriately. hunt and peck people will be laid off as inefficient.

I might actually have a chance to pass a FedEx truck now. We're governed at 65 but on the automatic trucks(Freightliners at least)if the truck goes into E-coast mode we can go up to 75 mph (don't wanna go any higher than that, lest we get a call from the "safety gods" in Mondovi, lol).

We ran 70 before this. Our brand new Volvo is 65. We run 344 to 753 dedicated.

This adds like 45 mins to a driving shift and we got a raise to make up for the added time, I really see no reason to complain.

I am on my second day of 65 mph. Haha. It does add between 30 to 45 min to the trip Each way. Biggest difference is when you pull over to pee you can't recover that time like you would doing 72mph. I haven't got compensated yet but boss lady just told us today we might get two cents in September. Yey!

No talk of compensation on our end. But we were already planning on jumping at the end of our spot's contract in October. Already bought the truck.

I came to check the date again cuz last night everyone was blowing my doors off when I was doing 65.
