When you think about these new high torque engines and add the torque multiplication of the main trans, it makes you wonder how anything could hold up if not treated with respect.

In the Spicer 1241, you have the small OD gear and right in front of it is a rather small needle bearing that takes a lot of load when in OD. In my box the 4th gear was chipped and the said bearing had went down, taking the input shaft and main shaft with it. I probably could have bought another box for what I've sunk into it but I know what I have and there is a good chance another box would have the same problems.

. I got truck - Cascadia (it took 3 years to find company with good trucks, (but they even don't know what trucks they bought) with 244 inches wheelbase, 500 hp, axle ratio 3.08, front axle 13300 lb. most trucks have 228 Wb, 3.08, 12000, 455hp - I do not know why they buy this junk!

Unfortunately, some just buy what the can get and not really look into what they need.
