What subjects do you avoid on ttr ?

I shake my head every time I see a thread that says something like, "I have done all kinds of research and watched all the YouTube videos, and I narrowed it down to two companies, CR England and Werner. Which one should I choose?"

That leads me to another subject: YouTube videos. I hate those people that think everything they see and hear on YouTube must be the truth, just because some mouth breathing superstar trucker knows how to talk at a camera. Ugh...

 

I'm trying to limit myself to strictly the 18 wheelers subforum and the unmoderated forum (not the politics one).

Edit: Avoiding "Which truck should I buy" threads and threads where someone asks a technical question without providing year/make/model/clear description of the issue. Also posts where people can't be bothered to use proper spelling or punctuation.

 

Unless I missed it, another tiresome subject,,,"trouble with downshifting". I've tried to help so many, and you know what? The heck with it, strip 'er clean for all I care.

 

I avoid most of the drug threads. I find I can't read them due to some of the replies. Whether factual, funny, or just pulled out of someones ###. Always give me a good laugh, so I must avoid those topics. I got a sense of humor, I use it quite often, fore if not....I'd likely go sane. (not a typo)

An of course the usual politics an religion. Mainly cause I poke fun at both sides an people really get butt hurt when you mock their party.( I equally make fun of both parties ) an before someone tries to convince me I'm wrong in my thinking allow me to put this reply right here..

I dislike those too. I always picture a woman sitting at a kitchen table chain smoking staring at a computer with an overflowing ashtray next to it. While her husband is sitting in his recliner in the other room in boxers and a wife beater tank top crushing another beer can while yelling "Tammy get on that there interweb and ask those fine red blooded Americans on TTR what I should do about my situation I done got myself in. And where's that sammich??!!"
