I am old enough to remember the round tables at the truckstops back in the 60s 70s and 80s...I remember well the twenty year Jackets on the LTL drivers who had the attitude that if you were not working for a union LTL...well you were just a bottom feeder. They had it made and were happy to tell you that....as long as the earth turned, there would be a (fill in the blank) company for them...blind faith in the future of there trucking company...and there pay. Companies like, Smith, Ryder, Signal, Jones, etc. ....................................................................................................round tables are gone:(

Have you ever noticed, it is about the same message every day...I liked the guy who sent the message: a bit busy today...we got it:)

Means reassignment of stores to regional warehouse. Used to include renewing bids(which should have just been a sheet that just said; anyone want to change days?) and a new FLW bid.

I agree, why can't they just do a bid sheet so guys can have a chance at a new day out? For sure life has changed for a lot of people over the year.

I'm not going by my adp (which is 245.00), I'm going by my paycheck which is between 1300-1400 per week. My last check was for 2734.00. I take my check and divide by 2 then multiply by 52 to see what my yearly pay is.

Dang that sucks!! There's no way I would be able to tolerate that on a weekly basis unless I was on a M-F home everyday shift. I don't think my ADP was that low on my second check from hire. I hate that for you

I think it depends on what region you are in. Some drivers seem to make more than others. My husband is out of Indiana and makes 15-1600 a week. We don't complain because it's still more than he would make anywhere else around our area. We also have insurance for everyone and he got to start a 401K. I'm sure it goes up as you get time with the company as well.

It depends a BUNCH on what area you run in. You're correct though ADP will go up with time as of now max would be about $20/30.00 a day based on current mileage. That's if you just base it off mileage increase and not efficiency

    TruckersWife6258 Thanks this.

Yeah I think you are correct. We have talked to drivers from other areas that seem to make more. I hear Texas drivers make a lot.
