Are you really so dense to think that those border towns are not heavy with cartel activity? I guess those ranchers getting harrassed, threatened and robved are liars. I suppose the pot shots coming into the US from the mexican side are just mass delusions.

Ok, so you know zero drivers that have gotten harassed by the cartel. Got it.

Don't be, I never met a Canadian I didn't like. My old company was Canadian.

I ran Laredo to del Rio a lot last year coming and going from the northwest .
Not a bad drive once I learned how to read a sign in carizzo lol.
Enjoy the drive and if you are a Verizon customer you will get offers on your fone for service in Mexico .

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

I love how your tap dancing by using the driver angle, especially since I never once mentioned drivers.

Not biased at all in any way.

Dude, the cartel is EVERYWHERE. Not just border towns. You really going to live your life in fear?

I'm biased? Why is that, because I don't buy into the panic the news creates for certain people with certain agendas to benefit from?

You're a truck driver, man up. Making it sound like the boogey man lives in south Texas. The murder rate there isn't any more than anywhere else. Probably less than most major cities.

I spend a fair amount of time in far South Texas and have never felt the least bit uncomfortable. As others have mentioned there is a lot of wildlife at night between Del Rio and Sanderson. Almost had an owl hit my windshield one time.

I know where the bypasses are around Carrizo Springs and Del Rio. But today somehow I ended up on 277 instead of continuing on to Sanderson and Fort Stockton like I usually do. I realized this when I drove past that Pilot cardlock and arrived at I-10 two hours early.

I slept a many of nights in eagle pass with no problem just 400 yards from the border. There is no danger near the border unless your looking for it. Stop watching TV 98.9 percent of everything on it is B/S.

I bought some fresh snake skin boots from a cartel member once. He said my friend this time the you take the boots. But next time you will take a load to Dallas for us. I replied no senor, Me gusta comer Fajitas de pollo en este El lado de El la valla. No la el interior de la priso'n
