According to what I read, he is a diabetic, hos leg was amputated because of his diabetes, lost his cdl at the same time, a prosthetic leg would have been a plus but he went back.prematurely, he had to pass a physical first.

They just don't pick you out of a crowd of truckers. Maybe fluke one person or 2 deal. Most of these runners have been moving various stuff over time.
There are ways around check points also.... -
I just read my weekly mystery novel so my brain is turning
I think the truck company sold the truck to the Mexicans
Then the owner contacted his old driver knowing his was hard up for cash for a quick transport job. Drive here and here don't ask questions don't go in back of trailer
He prob thought he was smuggling something but no idea it was so many people back there
He's going to take the fall hard because well he was setup pretty good and this is what the cartels do all day everyday
The court will let him get parole he's 60 diabetic and the obvious fall guy. If they give him time it will be cut short due to his health -
So where did the driver that needs some extra cash apply for the job? Perhaps one day he/she overheard a conversation or maybe it was a friend of friend who has a friend that ______., or recruiters entered the picture, or ?
-
The driver used to work for the company but then lost his Cdl due to his diebeties and loosing his leg. His former boss just took advantage of his situation and probably already knew the drivers moral compass wasn't exactly pointing to God.

Now he's a the fall guy, perfect !
