Yeah that's one we have. The other is in New Caney. The one I was at was temple. It sucks!! Swift runs majority of the loads out of temple. US EXPRESS runs most out of New Caney. Here's what happened to me I'll let yall determine the "Logic" in this.
The night before I shut down 2.5hrs away from waco,tx with claims. They put a grocery load on me showing I'd have 10hrs left to drive once I got to temple. It's a 30min drive from waco. Then it showed I'd have 9.5hrs left to drive once I drove the 79 miles to my first stop. So I call dispatch and tell them my time is wrong (I've updated my etd twice!!). I told them I can do the loads but I need my times to be corrected so I can be accurately dispatched. Well they took loads off of me.
So next morning I get up drive to waco update my etd again.. and then they put another grocery load on me that's going 12 miles away. When I get to waco they don't have an MT trailer for an hr so they BT me to temple. Get to temple and find out that my loads not ready, so I ask how about the first load? Yes it's ready... well it's already been dispatched. Ok....so I've been sitting there since 7:30 and it's now 10:30 and another driver comes in and just now picks up that load. I could have already had delivered it by then. So here I sit till noon and finally my load was ready thats going a BIG 12 miles!!
Moral of the story: I also had a BH on Me coming out of waco. So if they knew that loads were not ready or having wait time wouldn't it have made more sense to just keep me at waco to wait for the MT trailer to avoid BT?? Wouldn't it have made more sense to just send me straight to the vendor to get BH (it was ready) to avoid paying me the DT at DC?? Or how about just keeping me on that original load?? I don't understand how we can "compete" hoping to cut costs when things like this are happening on a daily basis multiple times.
This is why IMO they don't really care about us waiting at DC's or vendors @ 14hr. I bet if they had to pay us 1/10 of ADP I bet our wait times would decrease once they see where the real problems are. They would look into it harder. I also just recently found out that on your first load out for week if there's wait time you NO longer get paid for that which that doesn't happen much but it still does happen

No they don't care. You sat there 3 hours for a whopping $31.50. But they always say $14 an hour. How many of the people in the office, shop and store workers are on the job for 45 min. before they start to get paid?

It has, still here. I have no plans on leaving regardless of what's floating around these forums. Very happy with my decision to work here!

You should have just left it alone. I don't pay any mind to how many hours I'll have left on the load assigent. I just look at what time it has me projected at the last location and update it to that one, either matching it or pushing/ pulling on it. Keep in mind, it's just a computer, it still makes mistakes.

That's the toughest thing staying disciplined on your do home day. Your doing great at 395.oo mine will prob level out around 400. As the work load fluctuates.

Yeah I don't mind if it's off by an hr or so usually I'm way ahead of it by hrs.. but it everytime I kept updating it to my last location it kept pushing me out further. That's why I called. I understand it's just a computer but a human body is making the overall decisions
