I was thinking about getting into the trucking industry was thinking about roehl get your cdl program. I live 20 minutes South of Indianapolis Indiana I have been told I am in good lines? Was wondering how the training is? Was wondering how the trainers are and treat you? Was wondering how the miles is in this division? Just overall wondering how roehl treats drivers? As I have a wife and kids to support but want to get into the industry. Everybody be safe out there thanks for any input

I just recently finished Roehl's Get Your CDL program and am in my 2nd week with a trainer.
The CDL training is pretty good. There's about 4 terminals that do the training, Gary, IN, Marshfield, WI, Dallas, TX, Appleton, WI, and Conley (not aure how it's spelled), GA. Where you live and what fleet you're in determines which terminal you train at.
I'm going to be in the Dry van division, but I'm training with reefer drivers. Not sure about the rest of the fleet, but the reefer drivers seem to be running their butts off. It seems that the key to success here is communication.
Despite a few hiccups with getting me hooked up with a trainer, Roehl has treated me well throughout the training process. My instructors at the Dallas terminal were awesome and my trainers have been good so far. -
I'm starting training for the flatbed division in Gary on Tuesday. Dallas is about a 4 hour drive for me, where Chicago is closer to a 19 hr drive. Had I waited on a spot in Dallas, I would be sitting in Houston for another month.
