Replaced alternator now battery light blinks

So i replaced the altenator and at idle the battery light blinks intermittent. Getting 13.8 to 14.0 volts on the display and Scanguage.

13.8-14 is normal. Check the remote wire from alternator, I had it loose and also had the light flashing

possible to mix up the remote sense wires try switching them it happens all the time
