So I'll be trying to unload at stop 1 at 8am. Then dump off stop 2 ASAP so I can get whatever run to MI and then it's Disney time.

Doesn't help when I told Jake on Friday how I would be delivering with my hours being staggered and delays from eclipse traffic. Yet he didn't bother to pass along my message.

I had a 2 stop in Iowa with appointments in wrong order and a pissed contractor, then reload from Jake/broker gave me wrong town for pickup. I had to straighten that little mess out.

I don't want to turn this into a bash Jake contest, I'm just saying that I didn't have as many issues on a regular basis as I do with my normal dispatcher being absent.
I specifically requested a drop load at the warehouse for Friday so I can start my vacation. I'm getting loaded this afternoon in Dallas going to Plainfield Indiana. For Friday.
I get it. It was the best thing available at the time to get me back to the Midwest. I don't like the idea of a 230 mile deadhead to go on vacation. Maybe I'll luck out and get a short run I can drop. -
I really dislike loading in Dallas. So much traffic. And with the late load time I have, I'm sure to hit some kind of rush heading out. Going to Indy for Friday unload. If I can shave off 300 miles tonight, I should be able to get there Thursday. That gives them Thursday evening and Friday morning to find a shorty going to MI.
