Actually you caught me. I very rarely read more then maybe 30 or 40 words in a post. I do skim. In my original post I was just pointing out sometimes people use words where another word fits better.

 

However just to be clear about something. Last time I heard the TA travel plaza company paid their employees with Comdata cards. (My information on this is VERY old so this may not be the case today) There are several Brokers that also use Comdata/EFS cards to settle with OOs (Own Authority) that pull their loads a bit. So be advised that it is very possible that an OO or an own authority holder can be (paid) with Comdata. So please be careful when you react to a post where somebody posts they get paid through Comdata and are NOT a company driver lease or otherwise.

 

Sure. My main objection was the word "payroll". No matter the method of pay, a motor carrier is not getting paid a "payroll".

 

Did you get things worked out with your factoring company as well?
